E-Commerce Email & Push Coordinator

Resignation Media is looking for a smart, capable, steadfast, bright, and ultimately very rhythmic e-Commerce Email & Push Coordinator. We want a good-hearted soul who can manage and grow the email and app push marketing initiatives for our very important, very busy, very awesome e-commerce businesses including The Chivery and Buy Me Brunch. Do you feel at home in email? Great! You'd also better have a lake house in App Pushes. We need somebody who enjoys data, loves A/B testing, and knows how to wield both with vigor, creativity and (again) really sweet dance moves. The perfect candidate will have experience managing ecommerce email lists and campaigns and not be afraid of getting a little into the weeds. It also helps to have a sense of humor well enough developed to know that we're kidding about being a good dancer.

Job Description

  • Manage multiple email and app push campaigns per week for two separate ecommerce brands with separate audience lists like you're some sort of magician.
  • Optimize list segmentation and dynamic/automated sends to ensure the right marketing hits the right inbox at the right time to the right person with the right rightness.
  • Manage list growth initiatives and reduce unsubscribes for both brands.
  • Minimize unsubscribes at all costs.
  • Develop and test subject line variants to maximize open rates.
  • Create and send multiple app pushes per week to Android and iOS devices.
  • Track and report on email and app push marketing-specific KPIs on a weekly basis.

Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of email marketing concepts and KPIs, especially related to ecommerce (we live in a world where good open rates aren't good enough).
  • Experience managing campaigns and customer lists through an enterprise level ESP.
  • Experience with audience segmentation based on engagement, buying behavior and other customer data points.
  • Understanding of automated email marketing tactics such as drip campaigns, behavioral triggers, dynamic content, etc.
  • Comfortable with HTML, CSS, table-based layouts and mobile responsive design concepts.
  • Possess an eye for good design and layout.
  • Great attention to detail. (Like noticing we put a period on that one and no periods on the other bullet points).
  • Experience with app push software like Appboy or Localytics strongly desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
