Digital Media Account Manager (Ad Sales)

Chive Media Group is looking a kick ass Account Manager that will work to support the Ad Sales and Brand Strategy team members within the Central region. The Account Manager will be a key member of a growing team that will support sales in meeting its objectives and providing best-in- class customer support. This position will be based in Chicago and will report to the Account Director in the Central region.

Job Description

  • Take the lead in building proposals, bringing together all necessary elements from turnkey to custom programs
  • Produce all pre-sale documents including presentations, proposals and agency templates for distribution
  • Manage inventory reservations for fixed executions
  • Keep sales informed of all key issues associated with sales efforts
  • Leverage third- and first-party data when building sales collateral for client meetings and RFP submissions
  • Maintain an in-depth working knowledge of Chive Media Group products, programs, partnerships, and editorial slate

Requirements

  • 2+ years of online media experience
  • Proficient with Online Advertising Platforms & CRM systems: Skilled with industry standard platforms including DoubleClick, Atlas, Prisma and MediaVisor
  • Excellent knowledge of PPT and Excel
  • Experience with Salesforce.com a plus
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop/Photoshop Elements major plus!
  • Detail-oriented, well organized, flexible and highly motivated
  • Ability to work well with different personalities and within a team setting
  • Must have the desire to graduate into an ad sales role in the future
  • Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree
