theCHIVE is searching for a hard-working, and innovative junior editor that LIVES in Canada to help create original content for theCHIVE. Applicants should be able to sift through the web and have a sharp eye for trending & potentially viral content. This is a 1099 contract position.
Job Description
- Create daily original content.
- Maintain a sense of what’s cool, sexy, funny, interesting, and most importantly, in theCHIVE’s voice.
- Be familiar with basic copyright law and able to create content safely within its bounds.
Requirements
- Experience with WordPress (or similar CMS) and Photoshop.
- Detail Oriented.
- Background in writing.
- Must be able to work a Monday-Friday schedule.
Compensation & benefits
- 1099 contract position.
